John T. Fisher’s passion for filmmaking began when he saw Return Of The Jedi as a small child. Following that experience in his youth he dreamed of making films of his own and even managed to borrow a camera from a friend’s parents on a couple occasions. In the most humble of beginnings he and some friends, loaded with ambition, whenever they could, experimented with camera technique and special effects but usually ending with mixed results. None the less the seed was planted and John was a filmmaker through and through.

After high school John attended and received his BFA degree in film and video production from the School Of Visual Art in NYC. During that tenure he wrote, directed and edited several short films and videos varying in length, genre, and style, allowing him to hone his craft while learning the fundamentals and principles of filmmaking.

Post college he dedicated most of his time to original ideas and passion projects while occasionally filling gaps with some freelance work. After several years creating, releasing, and navigating film festivals with his award winning web series FALLOUT CHRONICLES, John began to take on more commercial freelance work slowly converting Faux Media Productions into his working profession.

In 2017 Faux Media Productions became an official business and each year since, as it grows further into a fully fledged, mobile, filmmaking studio, John is dedicated to equally dividing efforts to make and release fresh original content as well as doing freelance commercial work representing local business and organizations.
